MADRAS PRESIDENCY, 1823-1825 Coinage, in the name of 'Alamgir II (A.H.1167-1173, A.D. 1754-1759), Struck at Calcutta, rose mintmark type, silver rupee (2, small and large S on reverse at 10 o'clock), half rupee, quarter rupee, eighth rupee, sixteenth rupee (2), impressed with the mint name Arkat, type as mohur with frozen date, A.H.1172, Regnal Year 6, edge with normal graining, eighth and sixteenth rupee edge grained to right, (Pr. 263, 264, 265, 266, 267, KM. 423-427). Extremely fine - uncirculated. (7)
