BOMBAY PRESIDENCY, Indian Design, Bombay mint, 1800-1815, in the name of Shah Alam II (A.H. 1173-1221, A.D. 1759-1806), gold rupee or fifteenth mohur, with frozen regnal year 46, privy mark No. 1 (three lozenges, one over two), anothers with privy mark No. 8 (star over two lozenges), (KM.213, 237.1); another under Diwan Mulraj (April 1848-January 1849), Multan mint gold rupee VS 1905 (1848), (KM.87). Very fine - extremely fine, all scarce. (3)

Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 72 (lot 3625), and previously from Glendining's Nov. 21, 1974 (lot 423).
