BOMBAY PRESIDENCY, Southern Concan (Northern Provinces extending to Cape Ramas), 1828-1829, copper pice (4), 1828 (date of 8281 on obverse), 1829 (2, without dates on obverse), another different style to 1829 issues, reading probably 1828, but this without date on obverse, all coins with balemark on obverse and scales on reverse, (Pr. -, 330 (2), -, cf.KM.227). Dumpy flans, fine - very fine and all very rare, the 1828 pice unpublished, that last an unlisted date and variant. (4)

Ex Glendining's 1964 and Colin E. Pitchfork Collection, Noble Numismatics Sale 48 (lot 2122). The 1828 date in all varieties is unrecorded. Pridmore only had a pice of 1829 in his collection.
