DANISH INDIA, Tranquebar, Christian IV, (1620-1648), lead cash (kas), c. 1636, obv. DA/NISB/ORG, rev. ST./[I]ACO/B, (Gray 8, KM.16). Off centre on the reverse, otherwise very fine and rare.

Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 62 (lot 872). The ship's name on this coin was Sankt Jacob. It arrived in Tranquebar on September 3, 1636, but wrecked in 1640, 16 were drowned and the cargo was lost.
