SICULO-PUNIC, Hanniballic occupation, (c.213-211 B.C.), silver eighth shekel, quarter drachm or [sestertius], (0.914 grams), Akragas or Morgantina mint, obv. head of beardless male, wreathed with corn, [Triptolemos], rev. horse galloping to right, Punic "HT" below, line border, (S.6603 [attributed to Hiempsal II c.106-60 B.C. as a sestertius], SNG Cop. -, M.46 (attribution as for Sear), cf.Visona 56 variant). Good Very fine and very rare.
