NATIONAL EMERGENCY MEDAL, 1926 in bronze (51mm) in plastic case (Eimer 2003 BHM 4210); another in oxidised silver with the name 'W.Chantler' engraved on the obverse shield; Florence Nightingale tribute medal for her devotion to the Queen's brave soldiers in white metal (41mm) undated but VR on shield. First medal extremely fine, second has a few rim nicks and silver has worn off in several parts otherwise about very fine and the last medal is very good. (3)

The National Emergency Medals were struck for the London, Midland and Scottish Railway Company for presentation to those volunteers who gave service to the company during the General Strike of 1926.
