HENRY III, (1216-1272), sterling silver imitation penny, long cross issue, imitating class 5, (1.15 grams), issued post 1250, copying a Willem of uncertain mint penny, obv. hENRICVS REX III', rev. WHL/NEh/OIII/RID, (cf.S.1367, BNJ 1966 (p.89) J.J. North No.56, Pl.6 [This Coin], Westfalische Auktion lot No.73 [This Coin]). Toned, good very fine and rare.

The reverse legend is a combination of Wil[lem], Hen[ri] [retrograde legend] and Ric[ard].
