HENRY III, (1216-1272), sterling silver imitation penny, long cross issue, imitating class 5, (1.19 grams), issued post 1250, copying uncertain penny, obv. with sceptre to right []ENRICS [REX III'?], rev. blundered and crude, (cf.S.1367, BNJ 1966 (p.92) J.J. North No.114, Pl.8 [This Coin], Westfalische Auktion lot No.110 [This Coin]). Toned, very fine and very rare and an interesting crude example.
