SYLLOGE NUMMORUM GRAECORUM, Volume III, The Lockett Collection, (catalogued by E. S. G. Robinson), Part III Macedonia - Aegina (Gold and Silver) (12 plates). Original impression without covers (disbound) printed (1942), 12pp, 12 plates (Plates XXV-XXVI), London, for the British Academy. Lacking covers, very important and now rare.

The Sylloge Nummorum Graecorum (SNG Lockett), is the largest and most complete of all the private collections published in SNG format. The actual collection was sold on the London market from 1955-1961 and occasionaly coins from this collection are offered today at auction. The collection itself formed by Richard Cyril Lockett (1873-1950) is noted for the fineness, completeness and rarity of the coins, many of which came from the great sales of the 1890's to 1920's.

Estimate / sale price does not include buyer's premium (currently 22% including GST) which is added to hammer price. All bids are executed on the understanding that the Terms & Conditions of sale have been read and accepted. For information on grading and estimates please refer to the Buying at Auction advice.
