HUNGARY, Emperor Joseph as Palatine of Hungary (1776-1847), large silver medal, 52mm by I.D. Boehm, commemorating fifty years 1796-1846 of Government and him as Palatine of Hungary, 1846, obv. bust of Joseph to left, rev. wreath with details in Hungarian. Toned, good extremely fine.

I.D. Boehm born in 1794 was a medal engraver and Director of the Vienna mint for some years.
