CHARLES I, oval medal or badge in silver, probably by Thomas Rawlins, c.1642, 44x33mm, (9.4 grams), obv. Charles I bust to right, rev. Royal arms within garter, (Eimer -, MI 231 illustrated Pl. XXXII, 8; Fearon -). Has been cleaned, cast and chased as issued, with loops for suspension, extremely fine, rare.
