HERACLIUS, (602-610), gold solidus, (4.40 grams), struck at Constantinople mint, Officina I, issued 637-638, obv. Standing figures of Heraclius in centre, Heraclius Constantine on left, and Heraclonas on right. rev. Cross potent on four steps, (S.764, DOC 39i). Round flan, nearly extremely fine and scarce.
