SICILY, Akragas (Agrigentum), (c.483-474 B.C.), silver didrachm, Jenkins Group IV, (8.286 grams), obv. eagle with closed wings standing to left, AK behind, RA in front, rev. crab within circular incuse field, (cf.S.709, cf.SNG ANS 950-2 [similar dies], SNG Ash. 1661). Toned, of good silver, good fine and a rare type.
