GALLIENUS, (A.D. 253-268), Mistruck billon antoninianus, Siscia mint, (2.654 grams), issued 260-268, obv. radiate bust to right of Gallienus, around, GALLI[ENVS] AVG, overstruck ..LLIENV.. rev. PROVI AVG around, Providentia standing to left holding batton and cornucopiae, II to rignt, (S.2988, RIC 580, C.864). An extraordinary obverse double strike, extremely fine/very fine and most unusual.
