FRANCE, Charles V, (1364-1380), gold franc a pied, (3.754 grams) struck 1365, obv. king standing within Gothic arch, holding sword and hand of justice, rev. floreate crossin polylobe with lis and crowns in angles, pellet in annulet in centre, (Duplessy 360A, Ciani 457A). Slightly clipped flan, very fine and rare.
