SYDNEY WHARF LABOURERS UNION, in nickel (26mm) impressed membership number 584, also impressed with years, 1901, 1902, 1903 as well as initials ’W.M.H.’, holed twice for suspension, variety with Union spelt in reverse (Smith 617). Nearly very fine.

Initials ’W.M.H.’ are for William Morris Hughes, Secretary of the Union and later Prime Minister of Australia.
