CHARLES I, (1625 - 1649), Tower mint under king, silver crown, mm lis, issued 1625, Group I, type 1a, (29.67 grams), rev. pellet stops in legend, (S.2753, N.2190, Cooper II/I). Toned, round and attractive, good very fine and very scarce.

Ex Dolphin Coins, London, March, 1984, previously from the Glendining Auction No.6, May 15, 1968 (lot 253) and from the collection of Dr. Edward Burstal, with ticket.
