JAMES I, (1603 - 1625), third coinage, 1619-25, silver crown, mm trefoil over lis, issued 1624, (29.46 grams), rev. plumes over shield, harp with birds head, (S.2665, N.2121, Cooper X/XIX). Lightly toned, some double striking on the obverse, otherwise very fine and rare.

Ex Dolphin Coins, London, November 1981 and the Cornwall Collection. The Spink Auctions, London, No.16, July 16, 1981 (lot 44) example comes from the same dies.
