SEAMAN'S LOVE TOKEN, on cartwheel penny, obverse, stippled design of flag of Union Jack with crown in centre, hoisted on a tassled flagpole with love knot in lower left and the date 'June 4. 64' and at right side 'W.G. to E.B', reverse, stippled with seven-pointed star, inside 'A / Token / of / Esteem' and between points of the star are the initials 'B E B W G (or C) E'. Attempted piercing for suspension at reverse top edge, fine.
