MAP OF THE WORLD, c.1820, in white metal (51mm) possibly by Thomason (Eimer 1139), obverse, detailed map of the Eastern Hemisphere, continents of Africa, Asia, Europe and New Holland with Botany B. and Van Diemens Land indicated, together with countries and islands, reverse, detailed map of the Western Hemisphere, continents of North America and South America identified, together with countries and islands. Some indentations on map of Australia otherwise good very fine and rare.

In the previous lot a similar medal but 78mm, has North Pole spelt out however, this medal (51mm) has initials NP only.
