VAN DIEMEN'S LAND, a contemporary bound account ledger used as a day book, a volume recording all the relevant activities within the law firm including payments, accounts, letters sent and received, actions undertaken etc. commenced on January 3, 1837 and running to the 17th December 1838. An interesting item reflecting daily life of a law firm and names of citizens in Van Diemen's Land at this time. Approximately 450 pages. Fine.
