S C, across, Neptune standing to left, holding dolphin and trident, (S.1812, RIC 58 (Caligula), C.3); Augustus, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE as, Rome mint, issued 15 B.C. by L. Naevius Surdinus, (8.70 grams), obv. bare head to right of Augustus around [CAESAR AVGVSTVS TRIBVNIC POTEST], rev.
