BALBINUS, (238 A.D.), silver denarius, (3.13 gm), obv. IMP C D CAEL BALBINVS AVG, laureate draped and cuirassed bust to right of Balbinus, rev. PROVIDENTIA DEORVM Providentia standing left holding rod and cornucopiae (S.8490, RSC 23, RIC 7, BMC 33). Extremely fine and rare.
