SILVER TEA SET, includes small teapot, milk jug and sugar bowl, all in sterling silver (approx 400g), hallmarked for Birmingham 1922 and with maker's mark, J.G Ltd (Joseph Gloster Ltd), side of teapot inscribed, 'From/Ward Room Officers,/H.M.A.S.Moresby./21.12.26.' Good very fine. (3 pieces)

Probably issued to Gordon Alick Gould who was assistant surveyor on H.M.A.S.Moresby 18Sep1925-28Feb1930. He was appointed Lt Commander on 15Sep1929. See lot 1626 from same vendor and probably for same officer.
