GALERIUS MAXIMIAN, as Augustus, (A.D. 305-311), AE follis, Heraclea mint, issued A.D. 308-9, (6.29 g), obv. laureate head of Galerius to right, around IMP C GAL VAL MAXIMIANVS P F AVG, rev. around GENIO IMP E RATORIS, Genius standing to left with modius on head, holding patera and cornucopiae, .HT**D*. in exergue, (cf.S.14513, RIC 37a). Attractive, dark brown patina, nearly extremely fine.
