THE BANK OF AUSTRALASIA, second issue, uniface black and white printer's proof on medium paper, one pound, Auckland, 14th July 1863, overprinted specimen in signature reserve, imprint of Perkins Bacon & Co London Patent Hardened Steel Plate (P.S111, Robb 4a). Corners cut off at tips, pencilled date '1st May 1863', otherwise nearly extremely fine.
