BANK OF NEW SOUTH WALES, second issue, black proof note on card for ten pounds, no domicle, N.Z., dated 18--, without serial numbers, imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, stamped SPECIMEN in signature block, in pencil at bottom margin '24th May 1862 blank' (L.422; Robb C.25; P.S.148). Mounting marks on corners of back, extremely fine and very rare.
