THE UNION BANK OF AUSTRALIA LIMITED, proof fourth issue, ten pounds, Wellington, on card, dated 1st March 1881, not numbered, imprint of Perkins Bacon & Co, London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, rectangular block cut out in Manager signature area to indicate a specimen or proof issue, pencil notation below 'from this', black on white (L.530; P.S358; Robb M.25). Has been stuck on paper at corners, otherwise extremely fine and very rare.
