THESSALY, Koinon of Thessaly, Provincial Imperial Coinage, Domitian, AE 19, assarion, (7.22 g), obv. laureate head of Domitian to right, legend around, rev. draped bust of Domitia, legend around, (S.891, Rogers 88, Burrer Emission 1 series 1, RPC 277, BCD Nomos 4, 1407); Hadrian, (117-138 A.D.), AE 21, assarion, (4.03 g), Nikomachos Strategos, issued 123-125, obv. laureate and draped bust of Hadrian to right, traces **ADR*IANON KAICAPA **QE*CCA**LOI* around, rev. Athena Itonia standing to right with spear and shield, monogram for Strategos OX NIK OMAXOY around, (S.1127, Rogers 90, Burrer Emission 1, BCD Triton xv 952, BMC 77). Fine - good fine, very scarce. (2)
