BITHYNIA, Kios, (c.350-300 B.C.), silver hemidrachm, (2.19 g), obv. Apollo laureate head to right, KIA below, rev. prow of galley to left, magistrate name **PROX ENOS* above and below, (cf.S.3757, BMC 11-12, Le Rider, Propontide Hoard 317-333, Weber 4859, SNG Cop. 373). Porous surface nearly very fine, and very scarce.

Ex Hollschek Collection from Schulten, Germany, Auction Sale March 27, 1990 (lot 158 part). Karl Hollschek (1859-1941) formed perhaps the largest collection ever formed by a single individual. The collection totalled over 220,000 coins.
