FAUSTINA SENIOR, wife of Antoninus Pius, (died A.D. 141), silver denarius, (3.09 g), issued A.D. 147 at Rome mint, obv. DIVA FAVSTINA, draped veiled bust to right, rev. AETERNITAS, Ceres standing to left holding long torch and raising right hand, (S.4583, RIC 361, RSC 101a). Bright, off centred obverse otherwise extremely fine.
