PROBUS, (A.D. 276-282), base metal antoninianus, Tripolis mint, (3.56 g), obv. radiate draped and cuirassed bust to right of Probus, around IMP C M AVR PROBVS P F AVG, rev. Probus in military attire holding sceptre and receiving globe from Jupiter standing left holding sceptre, around, CLEMENTIA T EMP, in exergue XXI, (cf.S.11959, RIC 927, C.91). Large flan, extremely fine.
