MAXIMIANUS, (A.D. 286-305), silver argenteus, Carthage mint, struck as Augustus c.300 A.D., (3.08 g), obv. laureate head to right, around MAXIMIANVS AVG, Rev. in two lines XC VI, all within laurel wreath, (S.13000 [This Coin illustrated], RIC 15b, RSC 698). Struck on a large flan, attractive tone, extremely fine and very rare.
