SALVS REI [PVBLICAE], Victory advancing left, right hand carrying trophy, dragging captive, SMK**G* in exergue, (S.4167, RIC IX 26a3, C.30); Theodosius I, (A.D. 379-395), AE 4, 13mm (1.56 g), Constantinople mint, 1st officina, Struck 388-392, obv. D N THEODO SIVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right, rev. SALVS REI PVBLICAE, Victory advancing left, right hand carrying trophy, dragging captive, CONSA in exergue, partial chi-rho symbol in left field, (S.4188, RIC IX, 86b1, C.30). Superb on large flan for issues, good very fine and both rare in this condition. (2)
