PRIMITIVE MONEY, Africa, Nigeria?, uncertain area currency, bell money as a cast iron bell with handle shaped like a boat with three balls as ringers, length 17cm, external width 9 cm, overall height 9.5 cm, weight 760 g; (Opitz -). Very fine and rare.

This iron bell form functioned as an animal bell with its ring for attachment, it could also have been used as currency.
