SCOTLAND, Renfrewshire, Greenock, merchant countermarked dollar, John McKelvie & Son, four shillings and sixpence on a Ferdinand VII, Guatemala Mint eight reales, 1821, countermarked J.McK.&Son Greenock around 4/6 in a sunken circle with indented edge on the obverse. Attractive deep toned, extremely fine, probably the finest known.
