TURKEY, WWI belt buckle, star above crescent with Arabic script that reads, 'Sultan's Army - Ottoman Empire', two piece construction in brass with nickel silver front plate, lightly scratched on one side, 'Pte F W Howell 132'. Very fine.

Souvenired at Gallipoli by Lance Corporal F.W.Howell, 3Bn and later 55Bn, AIF.
