WESTERN SAMOA, Bank of Western Samoa, provisional issue (1960-61), one pound, Wellington, 1 May 1961, No. 615957, overprint on Territory of Western Samoa, one pound (P.8Ab),'High Commissioner' blocked out at lower left and replaced with 'Minister of Finance', overprinted in red 'BANK OF WESTERN SAMOA / Legal tender in Western Samoa by virtue of the Bank of Western Samoa Ordinance 1959' both sides (P.11a). Creases and folds, good body to paper, good fine and rare.
