KPFSM: LG 1/1/1946, p131, for Distinguished Service to Norman Alexander Skinner, Superintendent, Hobart Fire Brigade, Tasmania.

Only 19 Australian firemen received this award up until 1954 when it was discontinued and only one of these was to a Tasmanian.
