SICULO-PUNIC, mint of the camp, (c.300-290 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.85 grams), obv. head of young Melqart or Heracles wearing lion skin to right, rev. horse's head to left, palm tree behind, Punic legend 'MHSBM' below, border of dots, (S.6436, Jenkins SNR 57, [Series 5b] 406 [similar dies]). Bright, dumpy flan as usual very fine, die break on horse's head, scarce.
