EUROPEAN SPIKED TARGE, circa 1850-1870, European style shield, 22.5", two leather carry straps, ornate engravings on shield face, ornate leaf decoration under centre spike, square bases spike fastened to shield (sharp). Some oxidisation, fine.

Ex Patrick J.O'Rourke Collection, more likely to be displayed in a home as a show piece.
