POLICE LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL, (EIIR Dei Gratia). F.D.Pickett. Engraved. In case of issue, ribbon damaged, medal uncirculated.

In the Advocate newspaper, Burnie, 7 May 1938, p10 it was reported that on the recommendation of the Commissioner of Police that Constable F.D.Pickett was appointed Truant Officer for the Waratah District in Western Tasmania.
