MELBOURNE OLYMPICS OFFICIAL'S BADGE, 1956, XVI Olympiad, badge in gilt bronze and enamel (31x52mm), by K.G.Luke, Melbourne, impressed 225 on reverse, vertical pin-back, with attached official 5-colour ribbon and behind a longer green satin ribbon stamped 'O.C.' (Organising Committee); also Australian Olympian badge in gilt bronze and enamel (18x29mm), with suspension loop, by Stokes, reverse inscribed, 'L.E.Duff', attached to green and gold wrist cord. Extremely fine and scarce. (2)

Alderman Leslie Edye Duff, the Mayor of Woollahra Council in Sydney was a member of the Organising Committee for the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. He was also President of the Board of Fire Commissioners of NSW, appointed on 3 December 1956.
