CHINA, Late in Qing (Ch'ing) Dynasty (1644-1911) or early Republic, medium bronze charm, 40mm, (23.82 g), showing sexual intercourse between couples in four different positions, legend with four characters on the reverse side, a mule of (Zhong guo hua qian No.278/252) (illustrated); others (2), 50 and 30mm, (39.40 and 9.89 g), obv. Imperial inscription reading around, rev. two dragons for both charms, (Zhong guo hua qian No.378, a mule of 761/183). First an interesting charm, all have a square centre hole, very fine. (3)
