CHINA, a collection of charms and fantasies, fitted and recessed into cloth base within a tray with raised bevelled edges (see illustration), mostly modern manufacture 19th - early 20th century includes imitations of key money, round shouldered spade money and cast charm in brass with small boy attached to top, double charm type etc. Mostly fine - very fine or better. (8)

The collection was once examined by a Chinese expert Owen Fleming who has made notes on the various characters in his own hand and is added to the lot.
