JUBILEE MEDAL 1935, with brooch suspender bar. Thomas Percival Savage round the top of the reverse and Kempsey at the bottom. Engraved. Toned, uncirculated.

Thomas Percival Savage was born at Concord, Sydney, NSW 27 June 1868 and died at Kempsey on the NSW north coast on 15 November 1936. He attended school at Burwood Public School and moved to Kempsey when his father purchased a trading store in 1884. Thomas became general manager of the store when his father died, growing the emporium from a staff of 5 up to 40 at the time of his death in 1936. He bequeathed his King's Jubilee Medal to his daughter Lilia Amy S. Savage to be given to her on her 21st birthday.
