FRANCE, Captain James Cook, memorial medal, 1823, in bronze (41mm) from the Universal Series by Durand, portrait by F.Smith, edge impressed 'Monachii' (issued in Munich) (BHM.1207). Some toned areas on reverse, otherwise nearly uncirculated.
