CAPTAIN JAMES COOK, extracts from his journal kept during the voyage of H.M.S.Endeavour 1768-1771, together with an original lithograph of Cook at his desk with a map spread out in front, presented by the Committee of the National Library, black on buff coloured paper with evidence of original documents ageing, in timber frame (75x50cm), under perspex. Some toning, otherwise very fine.
