THRACE, Maroneia, (late 2nd century B.C.), AE 26, (15.56 g), obv. head of young Dionysos to right, wreathed with ivy, rev. Dionysos naked standing left, holding grapes and two narthex wands, monograms to left and right, around **DIONUSOU [SWTHROS MAP]WNITW[N]*, (S.1638, BMC 75). Attractive green toning, very fine and scarce.
