CHINA, Qing (Ch'ing) Dynasty (1644-1911), Wen Zong, (1851-1861), cast brass, Board of Revenue mint, one thousand cash North branch issue (70.47 g), 60mm (illustrated); another a five hundred cash North issue, (61.50 g), 58mm; a one hundred cash South branch issue, (46.42 g) 52mm, fifty cash South branch issue 56mm (55.54 g) the last issued June 1853-February 1854, others issued March - August 1854, (Hartill 22.715, 22.713, 22.709, 22.702, TFP 2427, -, cf.2433, cf.2435). Very fine and rare. (4)

Ex Patrick J. O'Rourke Collection and the first previously from Tony Lee in Geelong March 1988, the second from Noble Numismatics Auction No.76 in July 2004.
